Jahkeeva Morgan, ’22, has been named to the Hartford Business Journal’s 2026 40 Under Forty class, recognizing emerging leaders making an impact across Connecticut.
Morgan, who majored in public health at Southern, serves as vice president of business incubation and entrepreneurship at The Lab at ConnCORP. In her role, she oversees programs, partnerships, and operations for a 43,000-square-foot business incubator supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Among her accomplishments, Morgan helped create and launch the ConnCORP–Quinnipiac University Entrepreneurship Academy in 2022, which has supported more than 80 entrepreneurs and students. She has also helped lead the expansion of The Lab through a $4 million federal investment supporting new innovation, training, and community spaces.
Morgan, 32, works in Hamden and New Haven and focuses on advancing economic mobility through entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and community development.
The Hartford Business Journal’s annual 40 Under Forty program recognizes professionals under age 40 who have distinguished themselves through leadership, professional achievement, and community involvement.
