Jeff Stoutland, ’84, MS ’86, Captures Second Super Bowl Title with Philadelphia Eagles

Southern Connecticut State University Hall of Famer Jeff Stoutland, ’84, MS ’86, has once again reached the pinnacle of professional football, securing his second Super Bowl Championship as the offensive line coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest offensive line coaches in the game, Stoutland played a key role in leading the Eagles to victory on football’s biggest stage.

A former Southern football captain and assistant coach, Stoutland’s coaching journey has spanned over four decades, with stops at some of the most prestigious programs in the country. After graduating from Southern, he served two different stints as an assistant coach for the Owls before making his mark at Michigan State, Syracuse, Cornell, the University of Miami, and the University of Alabama. During his time with Alabama, he helped guide the Crimson Tide to two BCS National Championships before transitioning to the NFL, where he has been a cornerstone of the Eagles’ coaching staff since 2013.
