On Sunday, Dec. 13, Southern Connecticut State University proudly hosted the 33rd annual Friends of Rudolph event, welcoming hundreds of New Haven youth and their families to campus to kick off the holiday season with their first gifts.
The event was made possible by a dedicated group of volunteers, including SCSU faculty and staff, students from campus clubs and organizations, New Haven police officers, and high school students from the surrounding community.
Remaining toy donations will be distributed throughout New Haven by the New Haven Police Department, spreading holiday cheer across the Elm City.
