Tim Shea, ’87, to be Inducted to Southern Connecticut Diamond Club Hall Of Fame

Southern Connecticut State University baseball head coach, and former standout student-athlete Tim Shea, ’87, will be honored as part of the Southern Connecticut Diamond Club Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

The Southern Connecticut Diamond Club, Inc., will hold its 16th Annual Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at The Woodwinds in Branford, Conn.

Affiliated with Southern Connecticut State University as a student-athlete, instructor, and coach for more than five decades, Shea’s long-standing relationship with the university has been a tremendously successful one.

Shea recently completed his 23rd season as the Owls head coach in 2024 and holds a career record of 567-388-8. On May 1, 2019, Shea became the winningest coach in program history when he captured his 467th victory in a win against Saint Rose at home.
