Southern Connecticut State University is excited to announce an extraordinary opportunity for high school seniors applying for the 2026-2027 academic year. To eliminate financial barriers and support accessibility to higher education, Southern Connecticut State University is offering a limited-time application fee waiver for prospective students.
From Oct. 1 through Nov. 1, 2025, high school seniors can submit their applications to Southern free of charge. Traditionally, there is a $50 application fee, but during this exclusive month-long period, the fee is waived, making it easier for students to take their first step toward a bright future.
To take advantage of this special offer, high school seniors should visit the Southern website at SouthernCT.edu/Admissions and complete the Southern first-year application during the specified period.
Prospective students are encouraged to explore the various undergraduate programs, scholarships, and student resources available at Southern by visiting during the upcoming Undergraduate Open House on Nov. 8 or by visiting the university’s website.
