Southern women’s swimming & diving standout Olivia Strelevitz has been named as one of the three finalists for the prestigious Northeast-10 Conference Woman of the Year Award and the NE10 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Student-athletes are eligible for the Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year award when they are in their final year of athletic eligibility, graduating with a degree in May (unless in a master’s program), must be enrolled in a full-time course load and must have a minimum final cumulative grade point average of 3.30. A committee made up of faculty members and athletic administrators conducts voting for the awards. The NE10 Man and Woman of the Year awards honor student-athletes for their excellence in competition, in the classroom and in the community. The Woman of the Year award winner will be forwarded to the NCAA for their National Woman of the Year award, serving as the NE10’s nomination.
