Comparing the Gubernatorial Candidates’ Tax Plans

SCSU Economics Professor James Thorson joined Fox 61’s “The Real Story” on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, to discuss the 2022 Connecticut gubernatorial candidates’ tax plans.

In his interview with Fox 61’s Emma Wulfhorst, Thorson first provided analysis on Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Stefanowski’s plan to cut the 200 lowest taxes. He followed up by weighing in on if and how incumbent Democratic Governor Ned Lamont’s tax cuts are affecting everyday people’s finances.
