Over 90 members of Southern’s faculty and staff retired over the past year, and to recognize these individuals and their many contributions to the university, a celebration of Southern retirees was held on May 25, 2022, on the Alumni House front lawn.
President Joe Bertolino called for the campus community to “acknowledge our esteemed colleagues who have announced their retirement this academic year,” adding, “Their service has left a tremendous impact on our students and the Southern community at large.”
