On a recent beautiful summer Saturday, Professor of Art T. Wiley Carr conducted a watercolor painting workshop on Outer Island, located off the coast of the Stony Creek section of Branford, Conn. Sponsored by the SCSU Werth Center for Coastal and Marine Studies in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the watercolor workshop was free (except for a $15 fee to cover the cost of the ferry trip to the island), open to the public, and suitable for all levels of ability. All materials for painting were provided.
