WTNH’s CT Morning Buzz host Natasha Lubczenko welcomed Nilvio Perez, director of First Year Admissions, and Jason Callico, director of Financial Aid and Scholarships, to discuss the exciting opportunities awaiting prospective Owls. With rolling admissions and expanded financial aid options available, now is the perfect time to explore what Southern has to offer.
Perez noted, “We have 250 academic offerings at Southern, and there’s housing for different schools. We have a College of Health and Human Services, a School of Business, a College of Education, and a College of Arts and Sciences.”
He highlighted the benefits of Southern’s rolling admissions process, emphasizing early applications for quick notifications and ample time to explore the campus.
Meanwhile, Callico shared updates on the FAFSA application, including expanded resources like virtual workshops to simplify the application process, and announced that Southern’s financial aid options have grown through partnerships with alumni and corporate donors.
