CT Buzz host Natasha Lubczenko recently featured Dr. Adam Goldberg, professor and chair of the Department of Curriculum and Learning, and Dr. Marie Nabbout-Cheiban, associate dean of the College of Education, to highlight the Yale Teaching Fellowship, an innovative initiative designed to address teacher shortages in New Haven schools.
Goldberg and Nabbout-Cheiban explained how this $10 million fellowship — a collaboration between Southern Connecticut State University, Yale University, New Haven Public Schools, and New Haven Promise — aims to train 100 educators in high-demand areas such as special education and STEM.
