Dr. Nicholas Pinkerton, associate dean of Counseling Services and Wellbeing, was recently featured on WTNH’s Connecticut’s Morning Buzz to discuss the groundbreaking Mindmap campaign. The initiative aims to raise awareness about psychosis and provide early intervention resources, particularly for young adults.
In the interview, Dr. Pinkerton highlighted the importance of educating college students on recognizing early signs of psychosis, a critical step toward connecting those affected with the care they need. He also detailed SCSU’s collaboration with Mindmap to ensure that the campus community has access to these vital resources.
