Celebrating World Read Aloud Day

Student-athletes volunteered their time to share the power of reading with the Owlettes of New Haven’s Barack H. Obama Magnet University School this week for their 2nd annual World Read Aloud Day event.

Following an assembly where students had the chance to meet Southern’s K9 Officers Jules and Brody, student-athletes read the book You Are Enough with the grade school students.
