SCSU President Joe Bertolino has been a social justice educator for 25 years, and is passionate about student success and access to higher education. Among the priorities he has outlined during his tenure so far at the university are expanding community outreach and partnerships and streamlining students’ path to earning a degree.
In an op-ed published in a recent edition of Connecticut VOICE magazine, Bertolino spoke about the university’s commitment to a mission of social justice and anti-racism.
